Call for Papers
BulAIS 2024 invites original, peer-reviewed full papers on information-systems research with a particular openness to scholarship from Bulgaria, the Western Balkans and the broader Eastern-European IS community.
Theme
“Digital Innovation: Foundations, Frictions and Frontiers.” The 2024 edition welcomes work that interrogates how the practical innovations of the past decade — cloud-native enterprise platforms, open banking, generative AI, automated audit, and e-government back-ends — settle into the actual organisational, regulatory and cultural fabric of South-East European economies. We are equally interested in foundational theoretical work on IS adoption, governance and design.
