Day One · Friday, 25 October 2024

09:15–09:45Opening ceremony. Welcome by Prof. Kalinka Kaloyanova (BulAIS Chair); greetings from the FMI Dean and the AIS European VP.
09:45–10:45Keynote. Prof. Marijn Janssen (TU Delft): “Federated digital identity in European public administration — research agendas after EUDIW.”
10:45–11:15Coffee break, FMI atrium
11:15–13:00Session 1 · Financial & Accounting Information Systems. Chair: Prof. Velev.
13:00–14:15Lunch, FMI dining hall
14:15–16:00Session 2 · Cybersecurity & E-Government. Chair: Prof. Despotović-Zrakić.
16:00–16:30Afternoon coffee

12:15–13:30Lunch, FMI dining hall
13:30–14:45Panel. “The next BulAIS decade: research, teaching, and the regional IS community.” Moderator: Prof. Velev. Panellists: Prof. Janssen, Prof. Bosilj Vukšić, Prof. Bodea, Eng. Statev.
14:45–15:15Closing remarks & best-paper award. Photo on the FMI front steps.
15:30–18:00Cultural programme: guided walk through historic Sofia (Sveti Georgi rotunda — St. Sophia — Alexander Nevsky Cathedral — National Library).
19:00–22:30Workshop dinner at Vodenitzata mehana, Mount Vitosha — traditional Bulgarian table, нестинарски танци performance.
Format note. Each accepted paper has a 25-minute slot: 18 minutes for presentation, 7 minutes for structured questions led by the session chair. We protect time aggressively to keep the room engaged through the full day.
